A package arrives on Christmas Eve labeled from Lust, containing a set of repurposed lumber cutting boards. Meat cutting boards specifically. Merry Christmas, Krieg!
[For Krieg, there's a card announcing a year long sub to the Butcher Box where he'll get a shipment of tasty Pokemon? to throw on the fire every first of the month.
And speaking of fire, there's also a simple piece of paper announcing the delivery of one grill to a certain Mr. Krieg later this week. Also hugs. Because hugs are cool even if they come from a weird hosefaced shirtless man.]
[Krieg's gift from Lance is somewhat oddly shaped under the three layers of dark wrapping paper. It's clear that whatever it is, it's liquid and in glass and there's a note attached to it that ups the suspicious factor.
Don't ask how I got this and DEFINITELY don't tell Shiro I got this for you. Merry Christmas! - Lance]
[For Krieg, Bertolt sends his Charizard out. He knows Vervada doesn't care much for the cold, so maybe spending a few days where it's stupidly warm would be good for her. He has to send her out several days before the 24th though simply because of the distance, but when she gets there, she comes bearing a box.
Inside the box is a bottle with a Tentacruel on the label and a few extra jars, along with a wide variety of baked goods for both Krieg and his Pokemon. Bertolt made sure there was plenty to go around. There's even a package or two of Blood Sausage tucked away at the bottom with a note taped to it;
'My dad used to get these sausages on special occasions back home. I don't remember who he'd go to, but I liked it. It's called Blood Sausage, and my dad used to fry it up and add cinnamon to it with... I want to say apples? It's been a really long time since I've had it, and I wish I had the chance to eat his cooking again.
I've never had the stuff in the bottle before, but I'm not sure if I want to try it. I said and did some weird things when you gave me some of that whiskey last time and I'm worried it'll happen again.
Only worse.
I'll be nineteen on the 30th though, so maybe|
I don't know. Maybe next time we're together we can try it?
Hope you're ready for a Christmas surprise, Krieg!
Thanks to the hard work of a member of the Pidgey Post, Krieg will find himself with a package early Christmas morning from Miss Mabel Pines that's somewhat neatly wrapped with a big bow on top that's clearly been made out of several different bows that Mabel spliced together.
Magical rainbow Christmas bow!!
Inside the package is a sweater just for Krieg in a bright orange with two Whismurs on the front and music notes all over it. There's also a handmade card that reads as follows:
'MERRY CHRISTMAS KRIEG!!
I hope the sweater fits okay and I hope you like it!! I wanted to make you something so you can stay warm and cozy while you drink cocoa this holiday!
[Angel's bestest of best friends certainly won't be neglected this holiday. A number of packages will be arranged just outside his door, impossible to miss. All of them are signed with Angel's name, a heart, and a doodle of a Sylveon.
His haul includes: -5 packages of color changing fire powders -A handknit belt, in Darumaka colors! -A very cheesy, yet 100% serious "best friends forever" bracelet. One of those ones with a half a heart that matches one on Angel's wrist. It's been carefully sized to fit Krieg.]
[It's hard to get a huge bondage looking guy a thematically appropriate gift in a land where everything has a cute monster aesthetic. That said, eventually Hank finds a canteen that looks like an Old Ball.]
[Along with it is a note, in sloppy capital letters on a yellow post-it.]
[The first person Armin thought of when he saw Gaige on the network was Krieg. First to think of how happy he'd be to have another friend there. Then to wonder whether Krieg'd have enough pokemon to go pick her up.
The idea that he'd be going to pick her up is already a foregone conclusion in his mind. It is what Armin'd do too if one of his other friends showed up.]
Krieg, I saw Gaige arrived here. I figure you'll be going to pick her up. Do you need any flying pokemon? I know you have your Charizard, but I couldn't remember if you had any more. Let me know if you do.
[Isn't it funny, he was just thinking about running to Armin to ask for a bird loan, and lo and behold...here is Armin with an unsolicited and deeply appreciated offer!]
Blondie, you're the best! Can I borrow one of your birds?
[Honestly he would be happy to accept help from any of Armin's good girls or boys, but he knows how much Gaige will appreciate the Skarmory, specifically.]
Yeah! The Robot Arm! It's gonna be so happy to see her again, too!
[Krieg is too happy and excited to acknowledge little things like mentions of potential memory loss. He's just going to ignore that little nugget of unhappiness until he's forced to confront it.]
All right. If you want, you can keep Hilde until you come back here. If I end up needing here, I can let you know. I don't think she'd mind getting the chance to stretch her wings some.
